It is Milton Friedman, the leader of the Chicago Boys, who helped Pinochet in Chile. Milton is for unregulated capitalism, where the fittest people survive.
MF is a "free market" person, and I do not like him, mostly because I think that the "free market" people 1) like "jungle" capitalism, and 2) because the premises of a market are not met with uneven market power and secret information. In addition they seem to want to suppress unions by all means necessary, which is hardly allowing others to choose to act in what they see as their own best interests. My opinion.

I understand not. Of whom is the photo, and what does "MF" mean?

ah. I've heard and seen the name, but never read any of his stuff. Pinochet is kind of a creepy person with whom to be associated.
so what was his price?
I disagree with your premise, I think, that everybody has a price. But before that--what do you mean?
