
Unfortunately, this looks like a misconception on my part.
The text says "eastward", not "due east".
But at least it shows that the 1934 Treaty of Relations, which said that the 1934 boundaries were just dandy, was not caused by some unauthorized drifting of the boundaries.

Although eastward is not due east, so it means point on the coast that is x.xx miles to the east of the lighthouse. In which case, it's right on, unfortunately, depending on which part of the lighthouse you start from.
